In 2025, New Century Careers (NCC) celebrated 25 years of advancing workforce development across Southwestern Pennsylvania. Through its tuition-free MANUFACTURING 2000 (M2K) PA State-Registered Pre-Apprenticeship program, the organization helped local residents build pathways to rewarding careers in advanced manufacturing.
The 2025 Impact Report highlights NCC’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with employers, schools, community organizations and workforce agencies, while launching new initiatives focused on youth engagement, school-to-work pathways and career opportunities for underrepresented populations. NCC also continued supporting incumbent worker training, helping regional manufacturers upskill employees and retain skilled talent.
The report features success stories of M2K program completers who transitioned into promising manufacturing careers, demonstrating the value of NCC’s training model and employer partnerships.
Today, NCC collaborates with more than 130 manufacturers across eight counties, connecting skilled workers with high-demand careers while supporting the long-term growth of the region’s manufacturing sector.
