MANUFACTURING 2000 Application Process

PLEASE READ THE 5 REQUIRED STEPS TO QUALIFY FOR ADMISSION
  • You must complete ALL 5 STEPS by the application deadline for us to review your application.
  • Completing all 5 steps does not guarantee you a spot in our program. Space at each class site is limited and will be assigned based on the overall score of your completed application.
  • All of the 5 steps are important when evaluating your application. If yo have any questions about the application process, please contact our Admissions Office at 412-258-6617.

STEP ONE
Submit completed application online. (See Below)
STEP TWO
Submit High School Transcripts or GED, and (if applicable) College, Trade or Business School Transcripts, SAT/ACT scores. If you have any Skills Certificates or Professional Licenses, please send us a copy.
STEP THREE
Submit two letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation cannot be from family members or from program counselors.
STEP FOUR
Submit a written statement, at least 500 words in length, telling us about yourself and letting us know why you think this training is right for you. (See Guidelines below.)
STEP FIVE
Take an aptitude test. Scheduling for tests occurs at the seminars. If you are not attending a seminar, please call our Admissions office at 412-258-6617 to schedule a test.

Written Statement Guidelines

On a separate sheet of paper, please write a statement at least 500 words long that will help us get to know you.

Tell us about who you are, what your strengths are, what your background is, and why you think this training is right for you.

We are interested in getting to know you and your situation, and also learning why you believe you will be successful in the program. We will focus on content, and NOT on spelling or grammar.

Your statement can be handwritten or typed, and it may be submitted electronically or in hard copy.

PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME, THE LOCATION AND THE APPLICATION DEADLINE YOU ARE APPLYING FOR AT THE TOP OF THE SHEET.
